Special Blacksmithing Meeting Notice

November 3^rd South East Oklahoma Area

The Saltfork Craftsmen ABA will hold the regular SE Region meeting on Saturday, November 3rd in Paris, TX at the shop of James Allcorn -- Bois D'Arc Forge Blacksmith Shop is located at 33 1st Street NE. Look for the red and white brick building. Note that 1st Street NE is a

one-way street running South.

This will be a tongs making workshop and continue the teaching traditions started at the May 5^th 2007 S.E. organizational meeting.

For the next few months, the S. E. Region meetings will be held at James’ shop. The dates are the first Saturday of the month. Mark your calendars please.

Plan to arrive around 9 AM. Bring your portable gas or coal forge, tools, and scrap steel for a day of fun, hospitality, and fellowship. Tailgate sales of tools and equipment are encouraged.

If you are interested in blacksmithing but do not have smithing tools, join us anyway. We’ll find a forge and a mentor for you to connect with.
